What is a Brand Guide?
A brand guide is a comprehensive document that outlines the standards and guidelines for maintaining a consistent and cohesive brand identity. It serves as a reference for anyone creating content or communicating on behalf of Tulane University. This guide helps ensure that all visual and verbal elements of the brand are used correctly and consistently, preserving the integrity and strength of the Tulane brand.
Our Commitment
The Marketing and Communications Department at Tulane University is committed to upholding and promoting these standards. We provide resources and support to help every member of the Tulane community contribute to a cohesive and compelling brand. By working together, we can enhance Tulane’s reputation and make a lasting impact.
Whether you are developing a new campaign, creating content for social media, or designing printed materials, this brand guide will be your essential tool for ensuring that all communications are aligned with Tulane’s identity and values.

University Marks & Logos
All Tulane affiliated logos and lockups should be created by the University Communications and Marketing department. To request a logo or lockup, please fill out our support form or email marketing@tulane.edu.
The “TU” shield and wordmark are the official graphic representations of Tulane University to be used in university communications. The preference is always to use the full logo—consisting of the shield that contains the overlapping “TU” letters and the words “Tulane University” in their stacked left justified wordmark form.
You can access all approved variations of the university logo in PNG and JPG in this Box folder.
If you need an EPS file, please contact marketing@tulane.edu.
