Content types are templates that display content in various ways. The most commonly used content type is the Universal Page, which is good for building basic informational pages. Every Tulane website has its own “home page.” Home pages should utilize the “Article” content type.
This content type is ideal for the vast majority of a site's interior pages. Universal pages can include images, text, video and template snippets such as accordions, grids and block quotes.

Articles work well for a site's home page or an interior landing page that has a lot of content. Articles offer various custom blocks and most of these blocks offer multiple display options that allow for a dynamic page. Blocks include photo grid layouts, image carousels, accordions, image/text layouts and quick links.
*Note: Sidebar navigation menus are not available on Article pages

Tulane News pages are generally used for news stories/press releases and include author information, published date, and tags for stories.

Tulane People pages are generally used as a staff or faculty member's profile page. These pages are flexible and can include a headshot image, contact information, biographical/education information, office location and more.
